Computer Solutions of Alabama, Inc. provides computer programming for business applications to small businesses throughout the United States of America. We provide computer programming for Windows PCs and Windows Servers using Microsoft's Visual FoxPro and Microsoft's Visual Studio development system and the C# programming language.

Computer Solutions of Alabama, Inc. provides computer programming for complete applications, single programs, data integration, data conversion and application automation solutions. We can provide computer programming for database applications using Microsoft Access, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008. We can provide computer programming for data conversion applications which convert data from one application to another, such as converting text data into a SQL Server table or read data from a DOS data file and store the data into a Microsoft Access, FoxPro or SQL Server data table or data base.

Computer Solutions of Alabama, Inc. also can provide computer programming for data integration. We can provide custom written software to read data from a data file or data base table in one application or software program and store the data in another application or software program as illustrated by Example 1 below.

We can provide computer programming for application automation. We can write custom written software that can read data from a data file or data table, start Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel and populate it with the data read from the data file or data table.

Example 1 below is an example of data conversion computer programming. We provided computer programming to a client through a built a custom written application which reads data from a DOS xBase table in a billing system and stores the data into a SQL Server 2000 data table. First, we wrote a computer program that executes each night to read data from a DOS table and updates the SQL Server client table with changes. The SQL Server client table is the data source in Example 1. We wrote another application, shown in Example 1, which displays the SQL Server data. We also implemented the built-in security of SQL Server to give select users the ability to change the data. This application has become a must-have for everyone in the organization.

Example 2 is an application designed for a client in the Wholesale Distribution Industry. It is an entire application and was designed using Microsoft's Visual FoxPro development software.

Computer Solutions of Alabama, Inc. has provided computer programming for the past 24 years. We have developed applications, provided computer programming and custom written software that have included a patient evaluation system for Prehospital EMS, a medical intern procedure tracking application, patient tracking system with treatments and reports, an application to merge database files into a mailing list and the Wholesale Distribution application above.
